The Lamberton Lab focuses on understanding transmission dynamics of neglected tropical diseases and how best to control them. Our main areas of research are schistosomiasis, onchocerciasis and soil-transmitted helminthiasis. We are an interdisciplinary team of epidemiologists, population geneticists, molecular biologists, anthropologists, economists and engineers working together to address global health challenges associated with these neglected tropical diseases. We are based in the School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine and the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Parasitology at the University of Glasgow.
