Lazaaro Mujumbusi

MSc Student (2020-2021) and Research Assistant (2017-2020)

Currently I am an MSc Global Health Student at the University of Glasgow. I hold a BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University, Uganda.

I am an ethnographer with 5 years’ experience of conducting qualitative research. Having joined Medical Research Council Uganda as an intern trainee in 2015, I was formally recruited as a Research Assistant that year and I have worked on various topics including HIV/AIDS, Neglected Tropical Diseases and COVID-19.

I joined the Lamberton lab in 2017 researching schistosomiasis transmission in Mayuge District Uganda, including collecting ethnographic data and coordinating the household survey and discrete choice experiment.
