Praise Adeyemo
Praise Adeyemo has a background in Veterinary Medicine from Nigeria and holds an MSc in One Health from the Royal Veterinary College/London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Her work history spans health systems strengthening, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), infectious diseases, and grants management.
Her interest in schistosomiasis research grew during her master's thesis, where she conducted the first economic analysis of livestock schistosomiasis in Africa, focusing on Senegal.
For her PhD at the Lamberton Lab, she will research how health policies influence the uptake of WASH interventions for schistosomiasis, as well as the drivers and barriers to their adoption. Praise enjoys trying new foods, writing and travelling.
